The coalition government has published its Welfare Reform Bill, which proposes the biggest shake-up of the benefits system for 60 years.

It plans to introduce a ‘Universal Credit’ in place of the many different individual benefits available. Disability Living Allowance also faces changes, as a new Personal Independence Payment is introduced.
