Still living at home, but finding things difficult?

Care at home is often known as domiciliary care. If you need extra help in your own home, these are just some of the options you might want to consider:

  • Ask Social Services to arrange for carers to come in once or several times a day
  • Arrange for meals to be delivered to your home
  • Ask for visits from a district nurse
  • Visit a day care centre
  • Organise live-in care
  • Discuss the possibility of a family member moving in with you (or vice versa)

Read more about your choices while you’re still living at home.
